Our Mission

Our purpose is to aid senior citizens to remain as independent as possible and involve them in a variety of meaningful activities.

Agency Profile

FOCUS on Senior Citizens was established in 1973 to address the needs of seniors in the Tuscaloosa County area.

FOCUS programs are funded by the West Alabama Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging, Corporation for National and Community Service, Tuscaloosa County Commission, City of Tuscaloosa, City of Northport, United Way, the FOCUS Family Fund, various grants, other local governments, churches, clubs, and individuals.  Donations are tax deductible.  FOCUS is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), organization.
